MountainView Announces New Chief Operating Officer

The Board of Trustees of MountainView Regional Medical Center are pleased to announce the appointment of Denten Park as MountainView's new Chief Operating Officer. 

Park, formerly the interim CEO at Mountain West Medical Center in Tooele, Utah comes to Las Cruces with more than six years of healthcare management experience, including his tenure at Payson Regional Medical Center in Payson, Arizona, and Administrator with Rocky Mountain Care in Evanston, Wyoming. 

In the past three years, Park built a solid reputation as a leader who developed strong partnerships with physicians, community leaders and other organizations to ensure that necessary healthcare was available locally. He brings these skills to MountainView, and will continue to focus on helping the hospital meet the needs of the community, its patients and medical staff.

Park states his goals for the hospital will be to "make it easier for our physicians to provide excellent healthcare, ensuring that they effectively treat patients." Park hopes that by focusing on providing patients with an increased availability of resources, he will further emphasize MountainView's continuing commitment to quality patient care.

Park is joined in Las Cruces by his wife Valerie and their seven children. The area provides the perfect setting for his family; Park makes note of the small town atmosphere of the community, something that makes him "feel right at home." Knowing just how important quality healthcare is for area residents, including his own family, Park emphasizes that he is grateful to be at MountainView, because he recognizes the desire of the physicians and staff, who make it their priority, to provide the area with top quality care, "we have an incredible group of physicians and staff at the hospital who have proven time and time again that top quality care is close to home."
