Overview
The graduate medical education (GME) program at MountainView Regional Medical Center (MVRMC) provides residents with the knowledge, skills and values that can serve as the basis for compassionate and competent clinical practice, public service and scholarly research.
MVRMC is committed to the education of graduate physicians involved in healthcare and providing the best possible environment for training the future medical workforce. Graduate medical education at MVRMC is dedicated to excellence in education, medical care and research/scholarly activity.
Accreditation Status
MVRMC has obtained Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Continued Accreditation as a Sponsoring Institution (ACGME Institution # 8003401088). The internal medicine, osteopathic neuromusculoskeletal medicine and transitional year residency programs have received ACGME Continued Accreditation. The orthopedic surgery residency program is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).

MVRMC's residency programs are affiliated with the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine at New Mexico State University.
