Patrick Shannon, Chief Executive Officer
Shannon Chief Executive Officer Patrick Shannon has more than 30 years of healthcare operations and management experience.

He moved to Las Cruces from Huntsville, Texas, where he served as CEO of Huntsville Memorial Hospital for nearly five years. Prior to that, he served as the chief operating officer for Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, a 476-bed hospital, located in Beaumont, Texas. He was responsible for the operational management and oversight of multiple departments within Baptist Hospital’s main campus, behavioral health facility, regional cancer center and Baptist campus in Orange, Texas.

Patrick also served as the COO for Ochsner Medical Center - Kenner, in Kenner, Louisiana, as well as vice president of surgical services for Ochsner's flagship hospital at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Additionally, he worked for HCA’s Gulf South and Central-West (El Paso, Texas) Divisions.

Patrick is a graduate of Louisiana State University and holds a Master of Business Administration from Northeast Louisiana University, as well as a Master of Science in health services administration from the University of St. Francis. Patrick is a combat veteran from Operation Iraqi Freedom II and retired from the U.S Army Reserves holding the rank of colonel. Additionally, he is a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Jayden Snyder, Chief Operating Officer
Snyder Jayden Snyder is the chief operating officer at MountainView Regional Medical Center. He began his healthcare career working multiple roles while attending the University of Utah to earn his undergraduate degree. He started as a clinic scheduler and worked for a cancer hospital as a patient transporter and front desk receptionist.

Jayden then attended the University of Iowa, where he received his Master of Health Administration while working for the University of Iowa hospitals & clinics. Upon graduating, he joined MultiCare Health System in Spokane, WA, where he spent the next four years of his career as an administrative fellow, manager of hospital operations for Deaconess Hospital and Valley Hospital, and then a campus administrator for Valley Hospital.

In early 2024, he joined Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital as an assistant chief executive officer. While there, he oversaw a $30 million hospital renovation and expansion of perioperative services and spearheaded multiple key operational initiatives.

Franz Encisa, Chief Quality Officer
Franz Encisa, R.N., BSN, MHA, CPHQ, is the chief quality officer at MountainView Regional Medical Center, having joined in March 2024. With more than 14 years of experience in healthcare quality, Franz has specialized in patient safety, performance improvement, licensing, accreditation, regulatory compliance, risk management and infection prevention. His career spans various healthcare settings, from medium-sized community hospitals and healthcare districts to large systems across California.

Before his role as CQO, Franz worked as a telemetry nurse, CVICU nurse and nursing supervisor for eight years in Las Vegas, NV. He holds a bachelor's degree in nursing, a master's degree in healthcare administration and is a certified professional in healthcare quality.

Erin Young, Chief Nursing Officer
Erin Young, MSN, R.N., was appointed the role of chief nursing officer in March 2026, after serving as assistant chief nursing officer and then interim chief nursing officer at MountainView Regional Medical Center. She has more than 20 years of experience in nursing and 14 years in progressive leadership roles. Previously, she served as the director of acute care services for St. David's HealthCare in Austin, Texas, a division of HCA Healthcare.

In 2022, she was among several leaders recognized by HCA Healthcare for improving HCAHPS scores to the 90th percentile. In 2024, she was recognized by the St. David's HealthCare chief nurse executive for the highest employee engagement scores for licensed practical nurses as they were reintroduced to the acute care setting.

Erin holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Our Lady of Holy Cross College in New Orleans, Louisiana, and a Master of Science in nursing from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Nicole Marquez, Assistant Chief Financial Officer
Nicole Marquez is the assistant chief financial officer at MountainView Regional Medical Center. Nicole has been with MountainView for several years. Previously she was the director of finance for MountainView’s physician practices, before moving into her current role.
