(Las Cruces, New Mexico) – MountainView Regional Hospital is contracting with the nation’s leading multispecialty telemedicine physician group to bring teleneurology to its hospital. This means patients can be receive timely, local care for more neurological issues such as stroke and severe migraines. Prior to the collaboration with Access Physicians, southern New Mexico residents requiring certain neurological care had to be transferred to other hospitals farther away.

Through the new relationship, MountainView Regional Hospital connects with an Access Physicians, board-certified neurologist via secure, high-resolution technology in minutes. On-site nurses and other physicians have access to the highest level of consultation to diagnose and treat patients experiencing a stroke or patients with Parkinson’s disease, severe migraines, vertigo, epilepsy and other neurological conditions.
