Dr. Nicholas Scarcella Joins MountainView Medical Group

Las Cruces NM, 1 July 2020—MountainView Medical Group announces that spine surgeon, Dr. Nicholas Scarcella, joined the MountainView Medical Group Orthopedics and Musculoskeletal Care clinic on July 1, 2020. His services will include minimally invasive spinal procedures and treatment of orthopedic spine conditions including cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine conditions.
Nicholas R. Scarcella, M.D., originally came to Las Cruces after completing his fellowship at the Spine Institute of Arizona. Dr. Scarcella completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Hawaii. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Dr. Scarcella is a member of the North American Spine Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Scarcella enjoys participating in triathlons such as the Ironman Triathlon. He is also interested in ice hockey.
In joining the MountainView Medical Group as an employed physician, Dr. Scarcella is now able to leverage the assets of the community’s largest integrated medical care delivery team.
